Why I chose Hockey
I chose hockey to be the subject of my digital story because to me it’s not just a sport, it’s part of who I am. Growing up, hockey was more than just a game I played it with my friends and family and it was a community where it felt like I belonged. Whether I was on the ice or cheering from the stands, hockey shaped my identity in profound ways. It taught me about teamwork, resilience, and overcoming challenges both on and off the ice. Through hockey, I discovered how to embrace my own true self while also being part of something bigger than me. So, when it comes to telling my story of identity, hockey is the perfect topic to talk about who I am and how this sport has influenced me.
